American Baptist Financial Aid Program

The Office of Financial Aid for Studies, American Baptist Home Mission Societies (ABHMS), administers the American Baptist Financial Aid Program that supports college students, graduate students and seminarians.

Baptist Life’s Scholarship Program currently provides a limited number of $1000 annual scholarships for full time students. Scholarships apply to undergraduate and graduate studies at any accredited educational institution. Awards are based on academic achievement, financial need, and ambitions/goals. All awards are for one school year only.

Catholic United Financial

For members of any age seeking to learn a trade, earn a certification or complete a college degree, Catholic United wants to help. Our Post-High School Tuition Scholarship program gives our members tuition assistance for their educational goals.

Scholarships are open to all high school graduates that will be attending a college/university full-time in the fall as well as those already enrolled and attending full-time in an accredited college/university pursuing an undergraduate degree. Graduate and/or doctoral degree student must be taking a minimum of 9 credit hours without exception.

Young Christian Leaders (YCL) Scholarships are monthly awards of $1,000 given to high school seniors and/or currently enrolled full-time college undergraduates who have been endorsed by their peers, family and spiritual leaders as a person possessing a profound measure of character, commitment to service, and financial need.

The Beta Sigma Psi Educational Foundation annually awards scholarships to Beta Sigma Psi Active and Associate Members. Scholarships are awarded in three categories: Scholastic Achievement, Financial Need, and Community Involvement. There are scholarships for high school students and college students.

GBHEM Scholarships

Undergraduate or graduate level student, minimum 1 year active membership in the UMC, minimum 2.5 gpa.

The Leonard M. Perryman Communications Scholarship for Racial Ethnic Minority Students awards a $2,500 scholarship for undergraduate study of religion journalism or mass communications. It recognizes of the work of Leonard M. Perryman, a journalist for The United Methodist Church for nearly 30 years.

Established in memory of Ruth Krehbiel Jacobs, founder of Choristers Guild, the Scholarship Fund provides financial aid to full-time students preparing for church music ministry. An applicant must be a junior, senior, or graduate student majoring in music, whose primary interest is choral music with children and youth.
