How to Use This Guide

Welcome to the LIU Brooklyn Library guide to funding your college education! This guide will provide you with information about fellowships, grants, scholarships, and loans that you can apply for to help pay for your schooling. Some of the grants are public and others are from private institutions; some are federal and some are from New York State. There are a wide variety of opportunities for you to check out.

Note: check multiple tabs for scholarships that relate to different facets of your identity! For example, if you served in the military and are majoring at LIU Brooklyn check out the Military/Veterans and Health Sciences/Nursing tabs.

We at the Library wish you the best of luck in your studies!

Make An Appointment with LIU Brooklyn Promise Coach

Need assistance applying for a scholarship? Reach out directly to your Promise Coach to make an appointment or stop by the Promise Office. Remember that scholarships and financial aid are one of the many topic areas your Promise Coach can help you with during your time at LIU Brooklyn.

Enrollment Services, our campus financial office, can also provide more detailed guidance in regards to your financial aid package and how to pay for school. Schedule an appointment here with one of their counselors to get a better understanding of your semester bill!
