Artists’ books may be found by searching the library’s online catalog, LIUCAT. Use the term “artists’ books collection (Long Island University-Brooklyn Campus” (including quotation marks) for an alphabetical list of artists’ books by title. The books may also be found by searching the artist’s name or the press. For books about artists’ books, search the term “artists’ books” as a keyword.
The collection is housed in the Administrative Office of the library on the fifth floor of the Library Learning Center (LLC 517). As part of the Special Collections, the books do not circulate and require special handling and care. They may be examined by making an appointment with the Special Collections Librarian/Archivist, Dr. Constance Woo (constance.woo@liu.edu).
